ABOUT
Background
I studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg with a focus on the product development process. During that time I practically worked on the further development of laser-generative manufacturing and lightweight construction using fiber composite materials. After completing my studies, I began to deepen my work in the area of FRPs at CompriseTec GmbH.
Already during my study, I'd made my first experience in the automotive industry at Daimler AG in Sindelfingen. Some years later I worked in the field of autonomous driving cars for BMW AG in Munich and as a concept designer of automotive sensors at Hella AG in Bremen.
After restructuring the location for the takeover by Faurecia AG I take the chance and started to work for 1 year as a freelancer. During that time I am connected to a lot of startups and one of them, LOBARO GmbH, I had chosen to join. Here I am responsible for the advanced & series design of IoT products + sales & support.
Through these stations, I got to know many people and collect a lot of experience. From today's perspective, the following guidelines for my life have stuck to me as inevitable:
There can be nothing more important than having no resistance to the things you do and a sincere togetherness characterized by trust
To judge a situation it is important to take time to collect information and listen without any prejudices to all involved partners.
People must be at the center of all intrapreneur- and entrepreneurial activity.
The constant need to increase and optimize with the only focus to make more profit caused in resignation and demotivation of the employees.
To gain the trust of an employee, there must be a clear and exemplary character of the manager. Not only at work but also in all areas of life. It's important to live these values.
Competitive thinking, greed, envy, and the urge to individualize oneself are poison for the success of the company.
A manager who acts in fear or wants to please and does not reflect on his actions is a good soldier but not a good manager
One person alone will not be able to generate corporate success or change. Only through a community based on trust and respect, it is possible to create profitable and productive long-term success. And each one of us is responsible to create such an atmosphere. I am a person who lives these values.
